Student Travel Guide
With so much going on in the world today it is so important that we are
given the best possible advice before we go, and that we know who to
turn to if the unexpected happens.
The British Government have an excellent web site which is a
must visit, particularly for those of us who travel to the more
remote and unusual parts of the world.

How Safe Is It Out There?
You could fall ill or have an accident; you could have money or luggage
stolen; your visit might be cancelled or cut short through injury or
illness; you may have to be flown home if there is a serious incident.
All these risks and more can be covered by taking out travel
insurance. Purchasing insurance for a few pounds is going
to give you and your family pease of mind.

Saving Money
The last thing many of us think of having bought our tickets is spending
more on protecting ourselves and our families while we are on our travels.
Yes, I'm talking about travel insurance here. It is the wise thing
to do, we all know it, but surely we will have to pay out anyway with
the excess wont we? Well that need not be the case when travelling
to another European country. Pick up an E111 form from your Post Office
and you could save money and hassle when obtaining medical treatment.
In many cases it will also pay for any excess on medical claims made
through your travel insurance company.
