To Ski or not to Ski
One time it was only for the rich. Today, particularly with the growing number of budget airlines offering cheap flights, heading for the slopes is an option open to all. Both Ryanair and Easyjet offer flights to a range of ski resorts and winter sports destinations, while new non-London-centric airlines such as FlyBe also fly to an increasing number of airports close to the snow.

Ski Insurance - A must or a myth?

You may or may not find it surprising that so many people travel without any ski insurance. Perhaps it is the "It'll never happen to me" attitude, or just that they are so wrapped up in looking forward to their winter holiday that it just slips their mind.

Whichever is the case then they would soon think again if they understood the real costs involved. Breaking a leg runs into hundreds of pounds - getting you to hospital for that broken leg potentially costing you thousands.

A few pounds spent on adequate ski insurance or annual travel insurance with ski cover is so much worth it!

Ski insurance is certainly a must have and as much a part of your ski holiday as the slopes themselves.
