Leeds - Bradford Airport Car Parking
Leeds - Bradford Airport
As is common with most UK airports Leeds - Bradford started off
life as a military airfield, in this case the RAF's 609 Squadron.
Scheduled flights had been flown for the airfield, then known
as Yeadon, as early as 1936 though the war interrupted the
service and didn't start up again until 1947. Together with
a new runway in 1965 and extension in 1978, progress has been
steady and resulted in significant growth in passenger figures.
